Shameful I know. What's my excuse? None. I was going to update the site after my skiing holiday but someone else I went skiing with put all the photos on their website and I didn't want to duplicate the news, so then I thought I would wait for the new addition to the family to arrive, which he did. Stanley Luca Donovan came into this world on 9th May 2002 at 3.13pm (apparently Simon played his best came of golf at exactly that time). Stanley weighed in at 10lbs 8oz - ouch. Don't panic, Karen had a caesarean in the end. Then, our long awaited summer arrived and quite frankly, the last thing I wanted to do was to spend my weekends up here playing on my computer whilst I could be outside enjoying the sunshine. Actually, we didn't have much of a summer weather wise this year, so I can't even use that as an excuse. My last excuse is there was no point updating it so close to my holiday in Hawaii, so here I am. I've been on my BIG holiday, it was fantastic and hopfully you'll get a feel of the holiday in the next few pages.</div> <bR> <div> As per normal, I've added a few family photos as well, so that those of you that aren't able to see us regularly, can see how the family is fairing. </div> <bR> <div> Do you like the photo on the left? Those of you that really know me will know that I hate having my photo taken, but this year a friend of mine asked if he could take some photos of me. He chose a day when I had been sunbathing in the garden, I had done nothing with my hair and I had no makeup on - thanks Vince. Anyway, the end result is, he did a very good job and this is just one of the photos he took. It's my favourite. I think it shows the real me.
